Position Description 

The goal of the E-commerce Manager is to drive E-commerce performance through the development of strategic promotional opportunities, web and process optimization, catalog expansion, performance data analysis, and by maintaining a cohesive end-to-end customer experience. This includes closely managing team workload, onsite testing, consistent collaboration with the Marketing team, and maintaining our relationships with partners. In addition to the accountabilities listed below, other projects and duties may be assigned.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Website Operations

    • Use performance and sales data to merchandise the website, ensuring that high-performing and relevant products are prominently featured to drive conversion and revenue growth

    • Plan and execute monthly promotions within seasonal website refreshes to maintain a fresh, cohesive, and engaging customer experience

    • Manage the end-to-end user experience by overseeing the setup of all pages, discounts, and related content to maximize site performance

    • Assign releases and maintain an up-to-date site calendar to ensure timely launches and promotional alignment

    • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as Shopify and Searchspring, to optimize site functionality and performance

    • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for site functionality expansion to improve customer experience and/or drive sales performance

  • Interdepartmental Operations

    • Oversee the building and scheduling of email campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and sales performance

    • Oversee the upkeep of email flows with each promotion to ensure content remains timely and supports revenue objectives

    • Monitor ad performance, adjust budgets as necessary, and collaborate with Marketing to refresh creative and maximize ROI

    • Partner with Supply Chain and Creative to expand the catalog with new print-on-demand items that support sales growth and customer demand

    • Serve as the E-commerce point of contact for partnerships with Tech, Marketing, and other sales channels to drive cohesive execution and performance alignment

  • Forecasting & Data

    • Conduct ongoing competitor research to inform strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge

    • Forecast initial plush order quantities and review demand forecasts for accuracy to ensure optimal inventory levels and maximize sell-through

    • Lead month-end performance review meetings and deliver actionable insights to the team to support continuous improvement

    • Present E-commerce performance in cross-functional meetings and presentations to align stakeholders on goals and results

    • Compile and share E-commerce financials by brand with the finance team to support accurate reporting and informed business decisions

  • Team Management

    • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and goal-setting to drive performance and engagement

    • Communicate business priorities, direction, and announcements with team to support organizational alignment

    • Set clear due dates for tasks to keep all planning, graphics requests, and setup tasks on track

    • Identify opportunities for tech utilization, automation, outsourcing, and process-improvement to support optimization and operational efficiency

    • Manage efficient work breakdown structures and schedules for the team that align with timelines, strategy, and revenue goals

    • Manage the upkeep of E-commerce SOPs to clearly outline all processes and eliminate gaps

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

  • 3+ years of experience (required)

  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods E-commerce (required)

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides (required)

  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, Shopify, and Slack (preferred)

  • Self driven to find new opportunities for revenue growth (required)

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 + up to 15% bonus eligibility.
